Who is Desigual
Desigual was born by the hand of Thomas Meyer in the Raval district of Barcelona in 1984 with the design of a jacket that today is considered one of the first upcycling products in the fashion sector. At that time the filmmaker Isabel Coixet blew out a word, "Desigual", and accompanied it with the slogan "it's not the same".
In 2006 they crossed borders. The first international destination was Singapore, from where they expanded into the Asian market. Later the landing in the United States would arrive, with the opening in 2009 of the store in New York; And it is in 2010 when Desigual opens its first store in Latin America, specifically in Colombia.
They work to make you fall in love with their garments even more, they increase the percentage of sustainable fibers collection after collection and they ensure that they meet the highest standards of health and safety.
Desigual want to reduce the environmental impact generated by our activity, both during the production process, as well as throughout the logistics chain and the product life cycle itself. Their Sustainability and CSR Plan 2020-2023 displays three key axes in this area: Climate commitment, Sustainable packaging and consumables, Reduction of waste generation and improvement of its management.
